President's Welcome

NSBE Dallas-Fort Worth,

It is an honor to serve as the 2022-2023 NSBE Dallas-Fort Worth Professionals Chapter President. Our mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the Dallas-Fort Worth communities.

I am looking forward to building upon the chapter’s reach and impact in the metroplex. I believe that NSBE DFW has untapped potential and we are setting very aggressive goals this year in regards to membership growth, fundraising, community outreach, and professional development. Mostly, I am excited for our chapter to meet in person on a more regular basis to strengthen camaraderie and grow our professional networks.

I first joined NSBE in 2010 at Texas Tech University where I earned a degree in Industrial Engineering. I have worked most of my career in the Aerospace and Defense industry for Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman where I was an active member of their respective professional chapters.

I will also be leveraging my reach as one of the most popular male influencers in the DFW area. As an influencer, I have been able to work with over fifty companies during the past 18 months. I intend to identify creative ways for NSBE DFW to partner with these companies.

I look forward to you joining NSBE DFW in reaching our organization’s mission and achieving our chapter’s goals!

Ivan B. Hall

2022-2023 President
