The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is owned and managed by its members.

With more than 30,000 members around the world, NSBE is one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States. One of the main goals is to increase awareness of the opportunities available through education particularly in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

NSBE’s mission is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

The DFW Professionals chapter is here to carry out the NSBE Mission through-out the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
