The Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers is seeking nominations through Feb. 17 for minority women making an impact in STEM.

How the movie ‘Hidden Figures’ inspired Dallas’ black engineering community
Locally, the National Society of Black Engineers wants to help women get the recognition they deserve. Tiffany Johnson, president of the Dallas chapter, said the movie inspired the organization to look for the "hidden figures" of Dallas. Plans for January include working with young girls interested in STEM fields.
