Dalain is a Data & Insights Lead on the Universal Product Development team. In this role, he leads a team that focuses on capturing and analyzing internal and external data across key dimensions of user experience, such as ethnicity, gender, age, and language to name a few.  Prior to Google, Dalain was a Technical Program Manager responsible for leading Intel’s SSD Business Intelligence Team.  He also has co-founded a LegalTech startup, and worked as a Lead Software Engineer at several startups such as Elevate Credit, Black Knight Financial Services, and FilesAnywhere.

In addition to his primary role at Google, he leads the Dallas Chapter of Google’s Employee Resource Group, Black Google Network (BGN), and works as a mentor and advisor with Google for Startups program.

Dalain has a MBA from Prairie View A&M University. He earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Alabama. He holds a certification in Artificial Intelligence from University of California Berkeley and has studied at Beijing Foreign Studies University and Tongji University.  He earned the Best Paper Award by the General Business Conference in 2017. Dalain was selected as a 2023 Computer Science Distinguished Fellow for the University of Alabama.  He was also honored with the Pollie Anne Myers Unsung Hero Award by University of Alabama's Black Alumni Association, the Malone Society in 2025.

Dalain has presented his passions and research at Universities, Industry Conferences, and State/Federal forums. 

He’s married with two kids, and loves being outdoors.
