Jessica Thomas was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She obtained a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Engineering and a Masters in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structures and Applied Mechanics, both from The University of Texas at Arlington. She currently works at Jacobs as a Structural Engineer in Dallas. In her free time she enjoys volunteering with different organizations, listening to live music performances, visiting art museums, and spending time with her two girls - Anecia and Sandra.
What's one piece of wisdom you've gained on your career journey?
One thing I’ve learned so far on my career journey is that networking is one of the most important things you can do for your career. Build relationships early and continue to nurture them, because you never know who can open doors for you in the future.
