Jordon Moore
Bio
Jordon graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering. He currently works at JPMorgan Chase as a software engineer in the Chase Account Utilities area. He joined NSBE in 2022 as a way to connect with other black professionals in the DFW area. He is currently serving as the Technology Chair, with the goal of bringing more awareness and interaction to NSBE DFW and all we have to provide. Outside of his profession he likes to stay active and play sports, his favorites being basketball and disc golf. He is also somewhat of a foodie and likes to try different restaurants in the DFW area.
What's one piece of wisdom you've gained on your career journey?
The most impactful advice I’ve received in my professional career is to always look to add value to the work and team you are contributing to. This could come from finding ways to automate processes or offer new and unique solutions to problems, but often you will find that more opportunities for growth in your career are provided to you when this mentality is adopted into your daily work model.
