Mirabelle Essien

Mirabelle Essien serves as the Finance Chair for NSBE DFW, where she leads funding efforts to support events and programming that drive community impact. She has been actively involved in nonprofit work since 2018 and is passionate about advancing educational opportunities and building strong, supportive communities for underserved populations.

She holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and currently works at the intersection of technology and healthcare at ModMed. Community engagement is central to both her professional and volunteer pursuits, and she strives to support equitable growth and opportunity across STEM fields. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing tennis, and practicing calligraphy
