Welcome to the NSBE Dallas Metroplex Alumni Extension Chapter
Founded in 1975, the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a non-profit
organization dedicated to the academic and professional
success of minority engineering and technical students
and professionals. Our mission is to increase the number
of culturally responsible black engineers who excel
academically, succeed professionally, and positively
impact the community. Today, NSBE is comprised of over
30,000 pre-college, collegiate, and alumni members
divided into six regions, all of which are governed
by a national executive board.
The Dallas Metroplex Alumni Extension (DMAE) Chapter serves to enhance the national and regional initiatives of the organization. DMAE focuses its efforts on exposing pre-college students to engineering, promoting academic excellence among pre-college students, mentoring local collegiate chapters of NSBE, and supporting professional development of its members.

You are invited to the 2nd Annual DMC NSBE Banquet hosted by the University of North Texas. This year's banquet will take place at UNT's state of the art platnuim LEED certified football stadium. Below is a short video showing the new stadium, food and entertainment. Don't miss this monumental event!

Corporate Solicitation Packages are available for distribution
Please help the DMAE Chapter raise funds by distributing
the attached CSP to the company you work for and local
restaurants and corporations. As a reminder, please
coordinate your distributions with Jarvis Chambers (Finance
Chair) and Mariol Charles (Treasurer) so that we may
keep track of where the packets are going, the contact
person for a particular business, and who has distributed
the packets. If you need one of these packets please
contact Mariol Charles or Jarvis Chambers at
Finance@nsbedfw.org
